Biographical History

From the Collection:

Vivian Hayes (1935- ) is an artist, author and life coach counselor living in Ridgecrest, California.

Vivian Hayes was born on November 19, 1935 in Berkeley, California to Michael Gabriel Chepourkoff and Ofa Hayes Irivne Jallu. She attended the UC Berkeley at the age of 15, and and went on to receive a Master's degree in art from Sacramento State University, and in Marriage and Family Therapy from University of La Verne. She married Philip J. Stein on September 5, 1963 in Los Angeles, California. In March of 1974, they divorced. She has displayed her art all around California, and began her writing career in 1969.
