Scope and Contents

Contents include two VHS videocassette tapes of the film, "Seasons of the Heart," produced by "Feature Films and Families," and directed by T.C. Christensen. Martha and Jed Richards live in Oregon in 1862. They and their two daughters moved there to make a new life, but the daughters died of cholera along the way. This has left Martha an emotional wreck, and she is unable to move on with her life. That is until an orphan named Danny comes to live with them. Jed immediately accepts Danny as his son, but Martha is still too upset to be able to love him. As time passes, however, she finds herself more and more able to accept him as part of the family. The film has a one hundred minutes run time and is dated 1993.

Biographical / Historical

T.C. Christensen (born 1953) is a Mormon filmmaker in Utah.

He was born in 1953 and grew up in Layton, Utah. He studied filmmaking at Brigham Young University and at the University of Utah. He has made many films about the prophet Joseph Smith and has made many other films associated with Mormonism and the West.
