Scope and Contents

Contains letters and photo prints from Alvin Fielding Smith to his wife Amelia Atkins Smith, or "Millie," and his daugher Ruth, or "Ruthie." Smith writes from London, England, where he served as a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, to his family in Salt Lake City, Utah. In his letters, he includes daily mission affairs, reference to correspondence with other family and acquaintances, and outings with members of the Church. Of particular mention is Ruth's birthday, which Smith writes of multiple times. He includes expressions of love to his wife and daughter, as well as mementos. Dated August 1, 1905 - August 29, 1905.
