A letter written by J.W. James in Basin Mine, Utah to Thomas and Ann Oakey in Salt Lake City. A friend, possibly a suitor, of Mary writes to find out the reason why Mary has not got her divorce yet. "I thought she had got it long ago, But I received a letter from her on the 9th of January informing me that the lawyer wanted to see me…". Dated February 24, 1881.
