Materials include Emmeline B. Wells's handwritten diary dated January 1882 to May 29, 1882. The diary includes day-to-day descriptions and thoughts about events happening with the Relief Society, the Church, the community, family, and friends. She also writes about her work with the Church and the Woman's Exponent and going into the office. Mentions discussions among Relief Society leaders about events occuring in Washington DC and Congress. The cover is a bright pink silk fabric. Dated 1882.
