Materials include a typewritten manuscript by Elizabeth Wood Kane written for the "Kane Leader", a local newspaper. It tells about her first visit to the area, her husband's involvement in the development of Kane, and Thomas L. Kane's desires to build a hospital there. Dated July 4, 1896.
