Biographical History

Elizabeth D. Kane (1897-1983) was an American psychiatrist.

Elizabeth D. Kane was born on June 26, 1897 in Kane, Pennsylvania to Thomas L. Kane, Jr. and Anne Virginia Wright. She attended Loyola University, earning her medical degree in 1928. She then completed internships and postgraduate training in various institutions between 1929 and 1946. She worked as a psychiatrist in Wisconsin and Michigan from 1947 to 1957 before returning to settle in Kane, Pennsylvania. Kane died there in January 1983.
