Scope and Contents
Letter from Lalande to Mme. Dupiery. Lalande begins by asking pardon for his long break in correspondence. He makes that statement that he is lazy and busier than Mme. Dupiery. Lalande desribes that the song of the nightingale is Dupont in Douai, France. In addition he writes about how his continuing communication with the English is amicable. He also writes of a new muse in Mad. Joliveau.

Holograph, manuscript, signed. The letter seems to be in small part written by Lalande himself, however the bulk of the letter looks to be a dication given by Lalande, and then signed.
