Scope and Contents
Letter written to Mme. Dupiery from Greenwich, London July 23. 1788. Lalande describes his stay in Greenwich in which he is to meet with M. Barry and M. Stepherd. In addition he is to fix the instrument made by Cassini with the addition of silver. After his modifications to Cassini's machine, he will return to Oxford via Cambridge and Portsmouth.
