Materials contain a personal history by Bonnie Hubbard regarding her service as a nurse in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1954-1957. Her history was collected as part of the Nurses at War Project. Talks about her life before the war, as well as joining the army, her training, and being stationed in Korea Describes her living situation, meeting many of the Korean people, and participating in church services of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Talks about being diagnosed with hepatitis B, flying back to Denver for treatment, and being discharged in 1957. Dated 1953-1957, November 18, 2003.
