Biographical History

From the Collection:

Robert Darius Adams (1881-1956) was a Utah photographer.

Robert Darius Adams was born on January 13, 1881 in Escalante, Utah to Robert Nelson Adams and Margaret Ann Shirts. He married Jessie Ellen Billingsley on July 17, 1901 in Manti, Utah and Mary Elizabeth Robinson on June 28, 1941 in St. George, Utah. He worked as a photographer throughout Central and Southern Utah between approximately 1900 and 1950. He passed away on June 11, 1956 in St. George, Utah.
