Profile photograph of Aunt Bessie, Thomas L. Kane's sister. The picture is mainly black and white with a slight pink tint to Bessie's cheeks and lips. Her black hair is pulled back into a large bun at the back of her head. She wears a dark dress with a white collar. On the back of the photograph is written, "Aunt Bessie for Harriet Dec. 1867."
