Scope and Contents
This is back view of a large group of people, all wearing dark clothing and hats, filling a street between two lines of buildings. The building on the left is identified as Kohl's. In the background there is a building surrounded by smoke and identified as the R.G. Dun & Co. building. In the foreground is a woman in a skirt and lighter jacket, holding a purse, and on her left is a hose lying on the ground. Note: portions of Montgomery Street were changed to Columbus Ave. in 1909.
