Biographical History

From the Collection: Robert K. Thomas (1918-1998) was a college professor and administrator in Utah. He started at Brigham Young University in 1951 as a faculty member of the English Department and Establishing Director of the Honors Program. In 1966 he was named Assistant Academic Vice-President to Earl C. Crocket, then Academic Vice President to Ernest L. Wilkinson a year later. He also served as a commissioner of the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. In 1980, Dr. Thomas served as a special assistant to Jeffrey R. Holland until his retirement in 1983.
