Topics discussed in these materials include production documents for "Brigham!," Handel's "Messiah," "Dido and Aeneas," "Noyes Fludde," "Dames at Sea," "House Talk," "Mr. Krueger's Christmas," and "The Music Man;" budget documents; magazines from and about Jackson Hole, Wyoming; sheet music for songs performed by BYU's Young Ambassadors; and rosters for the Zion committee. Biographical History

Dee R. Winterton (1935-1984) was a dance professor in Utah.

Dee R. Winterton was born in Midvale, Utah, in 1935. As a young man, he worked closely with his father on the family cattle ranch, raising prize-winning steers. After completing college, Winterton toured with the Ririe-Woodbury dance company, and participated in residencies in association with the Artists in Schools Foundation.

As a professor in the Dance Department at Brigham Young University, Dee worked closely with the Lamanite Generation, the Young Ambassadors' touring group, and musical theater productions. Dee also oversaw choreography of revues at Sundance, Utah for several years. He and his wife, Maureen, were the parents of four sons, Brad, Greg, Rolph, and Jay Dee. Dee was killed in an automobile accident on October 15, 1984.
