Biography

Annie Marie Jensen Armstrong (1860-1929) was a pioneer of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Annie Marie Jensen was born September 26, 1860 to Annie Kerstine Christensen and Soren Jensen in Horsens, Denmark. Her family converted to the Church while she was young. In 1868 they sailed to America on the ship “Emerald Isle” and settled in American Fork, Utah. She worked hard around her house and for different families and studied the Bible. In 1884 she married James Henry Armstrong and the two had seven children. Annie spent a lot of time and money collecting the family histories of her relatives in Denmark. She died on August 29, 1929 in American Fork, Utah.

Photocopy of a microfilmed copy of a typewritten biography. Annie Marie Jensen Armstrong was born in 1860 in Denmark, joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and migrated to Utah in 1868. She settled in American Fork, Utah, married James Henry Armstrong in 1884, had seven children, and died in 1929. The item was co-authored by Fern Armstrong Gray, another daughter of Annie Marie Jensen Armstrong.
