Biographical History

J. E. Hickman (1862-1937) was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, an educator, an academic administrator, and an insurance underwriter in Utah and Idaho.

Scope and Contents

Typewritten book drafts with handwritten corrections. Hickman presents a commentary of the Book of Mormon. Also included is a section of pictures, some of which were not used in the published version of the work. The book was later revised by Sidney B. Sperry.
