Biography

Alice Lofgren Andrus (1919-2003) was a US Navy World War II nurse.

Alice Lofgren Andrus was born on May 30, 1919 to Benjamin Franklin Lofgren and Alice Loise Lofgren in Huntsville, Weber, Utah. She served in the Navy Nurse Corps during WWII from 1944-1946 in California as well as on the USS Consolation in the Pacific Theater. She was married to Ralph J. Andrus in 1949 and had one daughter, Carol Jean Andrus. Alice passed away on April 22, 2003 and was buried in Kent, King County, Washington.
