Biographical History

James Madison Flake (1859-1946) was a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a farmer from Snowflake, Arizona.

James Madison Flake was born on November 8, 1859 in Beaver, Utah to William Jordan Flake and Lucy Hannah White. He married Nancy Jane Hall on May 15, 1877 in Garfield, Utah, and then moved to Snowflake, Arizona in 1880. Flake served in the England mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from August 1887 to October 25, 1889. He died on February 4, 1946 in Snowflake, Arizona.
