Biography
David A. Squires (born 1934) is a retired professor of Education from Brigham Young University.
David A. Squires graduated from Brigham Young University's College of Education as a history education major in 1958. After serving in the Air Force, David taught Utah history classes at Lincoln Junior High School in Orem, Utah, during which time he conducted an oral history project with his students from 1967 to 1972. He later taught for the David O. McKay School of Education at Brigham Young University. As of 2018, David was retired and and he and his wife Lois were residents of Orem, Utah.

The interviews were conducted by the students of Lincoln Junior High School in Orem, Utah, as part of an oral history project under the instruction of history teacher David A. Squires. Materials are dated approximately 1967 to 1972.
