His family joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, went to Nauvoo, Illiinois, and migrated to Utah in 1849. Most of the biography is a word-for-word transcription of interviews of Robinson by Seastrand. Robinson talks about coming to Utah and about his life in American Fork.
