Biographical History
Gary R. Bascom (born 1933) was a public relations administrator in Utah.
Gary Ray Bascom was born in 1933 in Idaho to Ace Bascom and Thelma Livermore. He attended Brigham Young University, receiving a bachelor's degree in botany in 1959. In 1957 he married Arlene Larsen, and they established themselves in Orem, Utah.
Bascom worked as a public relations administrator at Brigham Young University, and served as chair of Campus Tours and Conferences in the early 1970s.
