Dee H. Barker (1921-2008) was a chemical engineering professor Brigham Young Universtity.

Dee H. Barker was born on March 28, 1921 in Salt Lake City, Utah and died on February 16, 2008 in Provo, Utah. Barker was married to Katheryn Thompson on April 24, 1945. Barker served in World War II aboard the USS Grady. In 1951 he graduated from the University of Utah with a PhD in Chemical Engineering.

In 1959 Dee H. Barker began teaching Chemical Engineering at Brigham Young University after employment with DuPont in Delaware and South Carolina. Barker served for nine years as the head of the Chemical Engineering Department at BYU until he was later appointed to be the associate dean of the College of Engineering and Technology. Barker also served on various boards, institutes and committees including the American Institute of Chemical Engineering, the American Society of Engineering Education, member of the Engineering Accreditation Committee for ABET, the committee for the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying, the Utah Board of Registration and the Utah Board of Environmental Quality.
