Henry Strong Huntington's personal papers. Includes primarily correspondence, speeches and sermons, newspaperclippings, and ephemera. Most materials date from 1851-1877. One clipping is for a family reunion in 1971. Also includes an 1827 diary from Henry Smith detailing journeys around New England as a minister, as well as some family happenings. Dated 1827-1971.

Scope and Contents note This collection contains the papers of Henry Strong Huntington, a Presbyterian minister. Materials include diaries, personal effects, correspondence, speeches given by Henry Huntington, and four photographs. Materials relate mostly to Huntington's work in the ministry in New York and California. They chronicle his family life, missionary work and work as a clergyman, and important historical events of which he became aware.
