Biographical History

Veda Jane Walker Green (1888-1981) was the wife of Luman Peter Green and the mother of performer and "Sabbath Prelude" host Leola Merrill.

Veda Jane Walker Green was born on December 3, 1888 to Welby Holmes Walker and Diadamia Castro in Lewisville, Idaho. After marrying her husband Luman Green, she gave birth to Leola Green Merrill in 1911. After this, she was a stay-at-home Mom when looking at the Census records from 1910-1940. On March 31, 1981, she passed away in her residence in Las Vegas, Nevada and was buried with her husband in Farmington, Utah.
