Biographical History

Joseph Clarence Call (1892-1975) was a electrical engineer, dry farmer and LDS Bishop in Bancroft, Idaho.

Joseph C. Call was born on Oct 18, 1892 in Chesterfield, Idaho to Ira Call and Emma Jane Barlow. Call served in the United States armed forces in World War I. He married Myrtle Elizabeth Eliason on October 10, 1917 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The couple had 5 children together, and worked as dry farmers on their land. Myrtle died on May 1, 1962. In 1964, Joseph married Anna Urilla Nelson in Logan, Utah. Joseph Call served as LDS bishop for the Bancroft ward for 14 years, and became the Idaho Stake Patriarch in 1951. Call died on October 25, 1975 at his home in Bancroft, Idaho.
