Dean Fausett (1913-1998) was a painter of landscapes, history, and portraits.
William Dean Fausett was born on July 4, 1913, in Price, Utah, The 6th child of parents George Adelbert and Helen Josephine Bryner Faucett. He studied at Brigham Young University, the Beaux Arts Institute of Architectural Education, the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, and Eastern Illinois University. Well known for his paintings of the American West, Fausett was the recipient of the Carnegie International Prize. Fausett passed away December 13, 1998.
