Biographical History
Dean Fausett (1913-1998) was a painter of landscapes, history, and portraits.
William Dean Fausett was born on July 4, 1913 in Price, Utah, The 6th child of parents George Adelbert and Helen Josephine Bryner Faucett. He studied at Brigham Young University, the Beaux Arts Institute of Architecural Education, the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, and Eastern Illinois University. Well known for his paintings of the American West, Fausett was the recipient of the Carnegie International Prize.
