(Richard Palfreyman Condie; born July 5, 1898 in Springville, Utah; director of Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square 1957-1974; graduated from Brigham Young University in 1923, the Boston New England Conservatory in 1928, and attended the Fontainebleau School of Music in France in 1925; taught at the McCune School of Music at the University of Utah; also taught at Utah State and Brigham Young University.; married Blanche Mendenhall in 1923, producing five children, and eventually Manda Booth in 1963 after Blanche’s death)
