Biography
Anthon H. Lund (1844-1921) was an apostle and a member of the First Presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1901 to 1921.
Anthon H. Lund was born May 15, 1844, in Aalborg, Denmark. He served in the Utah Territorial Legislature, as mission president to Scandinavian Mission and European Mission, and as a member of the First Presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1901 to 1921. He also served as president of the Genealogical Society of Utah and was the first editor of the Utah Historical and Genealogical Magazine. Lund died March 2, 1921 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
