Biography

John L. Hunt (1902-1998) was a merchant in Arizona and Utah running trading posts.

John Laray Hunt, Jr. was born on August 25, 1902, in Fruitland, New Mexico to John Laray Hunt and Martha Hatch. He was the oldest of eleven children. He married Grace May Ellis on November 6, 1938, in Gallup, New Mexico. He was a merchant throughout Utah and Arizona with several trading posts. Hunt died on March 6, 1998, in San Juan, Utah.
