Photocopy of a handwritten and printed teacher's certificate. The item is a second grade teacher's certificate, issued by the County Examiner's office of Cache County, Utah.
Daniel B. Hill Richards class notes
Handwritten class notes written about the topics of zoology and law. Also included is a book called "The Biography of Our Baby." The baby book was filled out for Daniel's son, D. Sinclair Richards, who was born in 1911.

Typewritten and signed letter, dated 30 Nov. 1898, composed in Salt Lake City, Utah, and addressed to Daniel B. Richards. Franklin Richards expresses joy over the missionary work for the Mormon Church in Switzerland and in other places.
Reed Smoot letters
Photocopies of two typewritten letters and a certificate. The letters were addressed to Daniel B. Hill Richards, a Utah lawyer. The items recommend Richards for the position of consul general in Cairo, Egypt, and discuss strategy to be used against those who were attempting to unseat Smoot from the United States Senate.
