Biographical History
Gaylen S. Young (1892-1981) was a Latter-day Saint Church leader, lawyer, judge, veteran of World War I, son of Brigham Morris Young (1854-1931), and grandson of the second president of the Mormon Church, Brigham Young (1801-1877).

Brief history of Brigham Morris Young
Typewritten biography of Brigham Morris Young. B. M. Young was a businessman who served two missions to Hawaii (1873-1875 and 1883) and helped organize the Young Men's Mutual Improvement Associations in numerous places for the Mormon Church. He married Armeda Snow who was the daughter of the fifth president of the Mormon Church, Lorenzo Snow (1814-1901).

Two typewritten biographies and an essay. The biographies are by Gaylen Snow Young and are entitled: "Religious and Spiritual History of Gaylen S. Young" and "Brief Social and Civic History of Gaylen Snow Young and Mary R. Young and our Family." Also included is an essay entitled: "My Testimony: Why and How" by Gaylen S. Young, Jr.
