Biography

John Avery Collett Crew (1919-2002) was a Cheif Petty Officer in the United States Navy.

John Avery Collett Crew was born on November 22, 1919 in Washington to Henry Miles Collett and Anna Marie Bartak. He married Doris Elaine Simpson on September 27, 1942 in Reno, Nevada. John was stationed on the submarine USS Tunny during World War II. He also served in the Korean War. He died on January 3, 2002 in California.
