Handwritten and signed certificate dated December 15, 1875. The item states that a "gas goveneur" was effective in saving gas and in mainting pressure.

Invoices relating to purchases made for Clawson's store in Salt Lake City, Utah. The items were glued into a scrapbook. The materials relate to Clawson's business activities.

"Statement of the entire business transacted at the Theatre by Clawson & Caine and of all the Profits thereof, since they leased the same, being 13 months ending at date." The item is dated 31 March 1868.

Handwritten entries in a business account book recording Brigham Young's financial transactions from 1856 to 1874. There are many gaps in the record. These accounts were written by Hiram B. Clawson and others.

Photocopy of a handwritten letter dated February 4, 1873 and addressed to H. B. Clawson. Young writes that a Mr. "Loughery" is not his agent and cannot pay the man's bills. Young also states that "The Company" is "Perfectly able to raise all the money they need to git machienry" for a project in Provo, Utah.
