The many of the materials are religious in nature and reflect Ursenbach's faith as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Some of the materials relate to Ursenbach's personal life including his family. Also included is a small amount of publications collected by Ursenbach.

The first two boxes contain Octave F. Ursenbach's scrapbooks, and the last box contains the family newsletters and miscellaneous Ursenbach family material.
