George W. Groo letter to Joseph R. Walker
ALS in which Groo seeks employment with Walker's mercantile and banking firm. Complains of mistreatment by the Mormon Church authorities because of his "liberal tendencies" in the previous Salt Lake City, Utah elections. Includes note: with note "Ans July 29/74".

Handwritten and signed letter, composed in Washington, DC, dated 20 April 1872, and addressed to "Dear Wife," Mary A. Walker. Joseph Walker writes about his activities and relates how he is doing on his trip.
