Ball of an autobiography made by Thomas Wakeman Hall during 1889-1894 telling of Hall's childhood in Ohio, marriage, travels to California in 1849, life in mining towns, return to family in Wisconsin, Civil War experiences, and the death of his wife. Also includes a brief history of the Hall family written by Eleanor Lexington.
