Handwritten letters dated 10 Feb. and 19 Dec. 1878. The items were written to "Friend James Wareham" of Manti, Utah. Jones writes about the depressed market for farm produce, the activities of various churches in the area, and personal matters.

Handwritten account of Wareham's mission to Missouri, leading a company of emigrants from Missouri to Utah and Wareham's life to 1870. Also includes a copy of a vision by Newman Bulkley concerning Utah and the Mormons in the 1880's.

The receipts relate to property, water and other taxes, transactions with the Zion's Savings Bank, and Manti Temple reunion invitations. The materials also relate to the Cox family of Manti.
