Biographical History

Doyle S. Jensen (1890-1945) was a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Germany and California.

Doyle S. Jensen was born April 14, 1890 in Orderville, Utah to Louis Reuben Jensen and Kirsten Marie Sorensen Jensen. He served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Germany from 1908-1911, and a mission to California in 1928. While he was serving in Germany, his fiancée, father and younger brother died. He married Ruth Isabel Zimmerman on October 2, 1914, in Salt Lake City. They had ten children. He died February 13, 1945, in Boise, Idaho.
