Biographical History

Eunice Stewart Harris (1860-1942) was a polygamist wife and Latter-day Saint woman living in Utah.

Eunice Polly Stewart Harris was born on April 29, 1860 in Payson, Utah. She was the youngest of eleven children and grew up on her sister's ranch. In 1876, she attended Brigham Young Academy and studied under Karl G. Maeser. She met her husband, Dennison Emer Harris, at the Academy in 1878. They married on August 24, 1882 in the old Endowment House in Salt Lake City. Later, Harris's husband married a second woman, to which Harris testified of her belief in that form of marriage.

Harris died on March 10, 1942 in Provo, Utah.
