Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865) was a lawyer and politician from Illinois. He served as the 16th president of the United States between 1861 and 1865.

Meyer; edited printouts of the transcriptions created by Amanda Crandall, processor manuscript processing specialist in 2011-2012; and, edited transcriptions created through L. Tom Perry Special Collections' Transcribe program in 2016.
