Biographical History
Jean Eldredge (born 1930) is a retired educator from Roosevelt, Utah.
Barbara Jean Knecht Eldredge was born in November 1930 in Massachusetts. She attended Brigham Young University from 1948 to 1952 and graduated with a degree in Home Economics. Jean married Burr Eldredge in 1950, and they settled in Roosevelt, Utah, where Burr taught school. Jean earned her teaching certification in elementary education in 1958 and a master's in education from Utah State University in 1973. Burr and Jean taught in Roosevelt until retiring in 1987. She and Burr later served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to England. Burr Eldredge passed away in 2019.
