The great bulk of the J. Reuben Clark Jr. papers were inventoried in 1967. This register is only of the Clark papers that have come to the library since that time. This addendum contains a variety of papers that cover the full life span of Mr. Clark. However, the great bulk of the material here are his personal diaries and his financial records.

Contains a few items dealing with United States foreign policy, most of which were written by Clark while he was Undersecretary of State.

Collection of "dicta": short, often quotable, sayings by Clark on a wide variety of subjects.

Includes the nomination to the hall of fame in 1962 in Oklahoma. Grazing papers from 1952 to 1960, and Island Grazing records from 1936 to 1962.

Collection of his files on topics that interested Clark.

Contains diverse addresses given by Clark.

Contains handwritten diaries documenting the life of Reed Smoot as kept by himself. Includes discussion of his home and family life, thoughts, and other daily events. Dated 1880-1932.

Contains financial records of Reed Smoot. Includes bank account books, information on the Smoot Investment Company, and banking records. Contains checks and statements from the Commercial Bank of American Fork and the First National Bank of Salt Lake City, as well as other companies. Also includes checks and receipts. Dated 1827-1940.

Contains papers related to the legislative career of Reed Smoot. Includes hard bound copies of Revenue Bill and Tariff Duties for 1913, annotated by Senator Smoot and bound volumes of Tariff Acts, 1921-1922. Also contains writings and Newspaper articles relating to the senator's Home Economic Bill, and other bound volumes and newspaper articles. Dated 1913-1922.

Contains ephemeral artifacts and mementoes from the life and career of Reed Smoot. Includes objects such as Smoot's election pins, memorials written by others about Smoot, and Christmas cards. Also consists largely of invitations to events and calling cards. Dated 1877-1967.
