Mar. 25, 2006 in Provo, Utah; parents, Wenlock Ammon and Rachel Dibley Wheeler Free; raised in Leadore, Idaho and Pioche and Panaca, Nevada; later settled in Provo, Utah; serving as missionary in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to the Western States Mission; m. 1940 to Myrtle Joy Wadsworth in the St. George Temple; two daughters and a son; geologist and prospector; rancher and businessman; worked for Beneficial Life as an agent and manager; served two missions with wife; worked in the Provo Temple; bishop of the Pleasant View 1st Ward).
