Biography

Ernest D. Strack was born April 18, 1952, in Niagara, New York to Charles Allen and Edith Alice Ducey Strack. He married Mary Hak in 1973, and in 1974 married a second wife, Angela Kunz. The family had 17 children. For several years, Ernest operated a bookstore just south of Brigham Young University campus, which specialized in Mormon history, Western history, and the history of religion. Ernest was an integral part of the "Mormon Underground." He sought to make available all new information coming from various researchers of Mormon history. Ernest passed away from cancer at age 37 in 1990 in Draper, Utah.
