Biography
Rebecca Parrish Miskin was born on March 20, 1929, in Blackfoot, Idaho to George Washington Parrish and Elizabeth May Wood Parrish. She was the youngest in a family of eleven children. Rebecca grew up in Blackfoot, Idaho. She lost both of her parents by the age of 15 and was raised by her older siblings after their passing. Rebecca attended Ricks College where she met her husband Richard B. Miskin, and they were married on September 13, 1951, in the Logan, Utah Temple. They had eight children and raised them mainly in Ucon and Ammon, Idaho. Rebecca taught 2nd grade at Riverside Elementary School and Ucon Elementary. From 1994-1995, Rebecca and Richard served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Peoria, Illinois. Rebecca passed away on March 9, 2018, in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
