Biography

George Henry Robinson (1868-1950) was a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

George Henry Robinson was born on June 21, 1868, in Bradford, England to George Robinson and Sarah Ann Craven. George emigrated to Utah with his family in 1873. He married Lucy Dermott Barker on June 18, 1895, in Logan, Utah. They were the parents of 8 children. He was a resident of Laketown, Utah. George served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Great Britain from 1895 to 1898, and in the Eastern States Mission from 1903 to 1905. George died on April 29, 1950, in Logan, Utah.

Includes his journals kept while serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Great Britain from 1895 to 1898 and the Eastern States Mission from 1903 to 1905. Robinson notes the weather and his location at the beginning of every entry. Entries outside of his time serving missions are mostly in Laketown, Utah, in which he usually makes entries on Sundays, discussing church meetings, ordinances...
