Biography

J. Ward Moody is a retired professor of astronomy at Brigham Young University.

Joseph Ward Moody received a PhD in astronomy from the University of Michigan and completed post-doctoral research at The Institute for Astronomy at the University of New Mexico. He then became an assistant professor at Weber State University before joining the faculty at Brigham Young University in 1990. Moody served as a member of the American Astronomical Society Publication Board. He retired from BYU around 2023.
