Hermann Fischer (1928-2020) was a German organ organologist and author.

Hermann Fischer was born March 15, 1928 in Kranlucken, Germany. He studied, taught and wrote about organ builders and the history of organ building. Fischer died November 5, 2020, in Aschaffenburg, Germany.

Contains a number of indexes of Douglas Bush's research on the organ scholar Hermann Fischer, including work provided by various libraries and databases, some in Germany and some from BYU. There is also an article by Hermann Fischer on what was previously known as the Barfusser Kirche. There are some email correspondences between Douglas Bush and various people, mostly in German, about the acquisition of Fischer's research. The date range of materials is 1963 to 2006.
